This photo was taken in small garden in a veterans facility. This is a large facility with many housing buildings and various memorabilia from WW I and II. There are huge pens with animals and an old house with a really old greenhouse and beautiful garden. I don't think many people know this garden exists, but it is magical.Time

This photo was taken with a Canon 6D and a Canon 135 f2. Handheld and no flash.Inspiration
This photo is actually of my own daughter. She loves all things girly and I thought this would be the perfect place to showcase her true self.Editing
This photo was pretty good straight out of camera, but I did add some coolness to the background greenery and a little bit of haziness right invthe middle background. In my camera bag
My bad has a variety of lenses, along with my 6D. My favorite portrait lens of course, the Canon L 135 f2, my walk around lens Canon L 24-105 f4, a nifty 50 of course, a Tamron 70-300 and a Tamron 90mm 2.8. I also have a couple Yongnuo speedlightsFeedback
I think it is really important to just let kids go off and be their natural selves. When you catch them in the moment like this, you truly capture their essence and their innocence! A photo should make you FEEL something. You just don't get that feeling from a posed photo, in my opinion.
