This is in the old town of my city, Coventry, which was badly damaged in World War 2. The old cathedral, of which the outer shell has been left standing is visible on the left hand side of the photo....along with some stunning old buildings and cobbled streets...Time
It was early evening on a winters nightLighting
Long exposure, fairly clear night sky, and streetlight to give that starburst effectEquipment
I had my 650d, tripod and shutter releaseInspiration

I had to wait a while for the streets to be deserted as people would have ruined the shot, having tried a few times previously and giving up, but it was a cold winters day so less people milling around, and also meant I didn't have to be out too late (when it could be risky in a town centre) to get the shot I wanted
