Thanks very much Dave, I am delighted with this one too - best shot of the day...VB have stripped back several Peer Awards, even as premium member I only get two more, "Superior Skill" or "All Star" ! I think they need to revise them slightly anyway... :-)

Location
This was at Cropston reservoir in Leicestershire, just outside the wonderful Bradgate ParkTime
It was at sunset on a crisp winters eveningLighting
It was as Golden hour as can be...sunset on a clear winters dayEquipment
My camera was a Canon 650d with a 10-20mm wide angle lens on a tripodInspiration
I had been in Bradgate Park all day with my kids and my uncle, they were playing in the snow and we were trying to photograph the deer around the park, and on the way home I saw the sun setting over the reservoir and pulled back over to grab this shot, which turned out to be shot of the day, and this is still my own personal favourite of mine - its on a 4 foot canvas in my bedroom.Editing
It was given an orange tint as there were still some elements of blue in the photo, and I really wanted to emphasise the Golden tones in the sky that made me pull over to grab the shot.In my camera bag
My bag has my Canon 6d camera, 10-20mm for landscapes, my 90mm macro for close ups and a 24-70mm as well.Feedback
Sometimes you just get lucky and find something you hadn't even set out to get - always be looking out for opportunities and if you can stop (safely) and grab them then do so...
