ofcourse the color run is inspired by the holi festival in India! but the color run is held here for a good cause and not as a celebration.:)

Location
At the Colour Run at the NEC in Birmingham - I had been aiming to attend one of these for months and seized the chance when it was so close to meTime
It was around midday - the run started at 10am but this was after all the runners had finished and joined in the Colour Shower round the DJ stageLighting
It was a fairly dull day - was worried some rain may surface but it stayed dry.Equipment
My Canon EOS650D and the 55-250mm lens, no tripod, flash etc.Inspiration
I had been after something that just exploded with colour and had singled out the Colour Run as the perfect place to go and capture that...Editing
Just increased the vibrancy and contrast to show the colours as it looked to me on the dayIn my camera bag
I have a Canon 650D and the following lenses - 10-20mm Ultra Wide Angle, 55-250mm zoom, 90mm Macro, 50mm primeFeedback
Seek out events or occasions that you think will make a great shot and spend the time capturing as many shots as you can - on these kind of shots it is one in a 100 that has that moment you were looking for, I still feel this is one of my best pictures to date.
