Sunset over the Southern Alps, New Zealand as seen from Lake Coleridge on a cloudy winter's eve.

I returned here, having struggled without an ND filter the week before, only to encounter a lake covered in whitecaps. I wasn't able to make much of it (with 10-stops of ND, I found the chop just made the water white, which I wasn't the effect I was after). So again I waited until dusk to get something more interesting. I have used a three bracket exposure, with each exposure pre-processed with DarkTable, then manually blended using GIMP.
