Location
This shot was taken on the platform of Cheltenham racecourse in England.Time
This was taken in the late afternoon after traveling on the GWR stream railway from Broadway in the English Cotswolds.Lighting
I deliberately moved into the shadows to help me get the contrast I was after with the steam.Equipment
I used a Canon 1100d. I honestly can't remember the lens but I think it was a 70-300. Free standing with a steady hand.Inspiration
I was really happy with the way the steam was moving around the engine so decided to try and capture it as it first emerged.Editing
Just a little standard touching up.In my camera bag
Standard kit Lens, 70-300 zoom, and a 50mm prime. Remote shutter, spare battery, some cleaning equipment.Feedback
Early or late light really helps with this sort of shot.
