Location
The photo was taken on a family trip on transfagarasan highway. The cabin is located on Balea lake at 2,034 m of altitude in the Fagaras Mountains.Time
It was probably before noon, at around 11 am. It was partially cloudy.Lighting
Fortunately the sun was not too bright, the clouds were blocking it.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D90, with a sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 lens.Inspiration
I like water reflections. When I saw the cabin's reflection on the lake, I knew I had to take a picture of it.Editing
The only thing that I did, was to develope the RAW files. No other post-processsing was done.In my camera bag
I am a hobby photograher, so I do not have much equipment. I have with me my Nikon D90, a sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 zoom lens (I love it's focal length) and I also carry a Nikon 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6 for wider angels. I also have in my bag polarizer filters and extra battery.Feedback
I got lucky, the weather was perfect. At this altitude weather changes rapidly. If someone would try to capture something similar I would advise that person to be patient.
