This shot was taken with my Nikon d3200 camera and the sigma 17-50 f2.8 lens.Inspiration
I was looking to capture the shear size of the mountains in this photo. Having the mountain appear in the reflection just magnifies that.Editing
Post processing just entailed boosting the contrast of the image.In my camera bag
The equipment that I make sure I always have is my sigma and my nikkor macro lens. With those 2 lenses I feel that I have an advantage of picking up the shots that I'm interested in.Feedback
My advice for people wanting to capture an image like this is to get out with nature and explore, and keep you camera with you. You never know what you might stumble upon. Pay attention to the available light and the shadows, they seem to make images pop.
