Location
In Russia, at the lake Ladoga.Time
After raining all morning in the late afternoon sun came out. By the time we reached the lake we had an hour before the sun was setting.Lighting
One of the most beautiful blue-pinkish sky before the sunset formed the natural studio. The girls were very active, so no extra light was used.Equipment
I had my Nikon D7200 with Tamron lens SP 24-70mm F/2,8. Because of the very moving around objects I didn't use tripod.Inspiration
After many years of dreaming it was my first time at the lake Ladoga, visiting friends in their summer cottage. They had planned their daughters' and nieces' photo session for that day. I was extremely happy to jump in with my camera too! :-) I looked at those beautiful girls running around in almost last evening of that summer, enjoying EVERYTHING by it and taking the most out of it and couldn't help thinking that there is so much magic in that purity and innocence of childhood.Editing
Color photo made into black&white was the only post-processing.In my camera bag
I have my regular 24-70mm lens and often also 50mm and 150-600mm lens.Feedback
My biggest goal usually is to capture the emotion. And when I'm really enjoying the atmosphere and whole process, the object's and mine emotions will stay inside the picture and hopefully will influence those who will be watching.
