This shot was taken in Plymouth on the fourth of July. I'm self taught with photography and I love to try out new things.Time
This was taken right before the fireworks show for the fourth. I remember seeing the nice colors of the sunset and wanting to get a low angle shot. I put both together and this is the resultLighting
The sun had just begun to set and I remember how beautiful it was. I wanted to capture that moment in time.Equipment
This shot was taken with my Canon T5i at 18 mm f3.5. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
As a amateur photographer, I love to learn and try out new things. I'm self taught and I wanted to try and capture the beauty of the sunset on the water.Editing
Yes, I played around with the colors to bring out more what of what I saw in person. I messed around with the shadows/highlights, whites/blacks, a little exposure tweak, and fine tuned the colors. In my camera bag
I normally have my 18-55, 50-250, 50 prime, and my 75-300 with me at all times. I also carry around an intervalometer and various filters (including an ND).Feedback
Always be prepared for a beautiful situation to capture your eye. Make sure your exposure, aperture, and shutter speed all are set correctly. Make sure the histogram shows a very balanced image.
