Behind The Lens

Location

At my daughter's house in Nuriootpa, in the Barossa valley.

Time

about 1 pm in the afternoon.

Lighting

Just tried to get the best angle and light from the sun .

Equipment

Canon EOS 750 D with the 18 - 55 mm basic lens no flash or tripod.

Inspiration

I saw a bunch of old picture frames standing on the corner of the garage and the stunning flowers just leapt out at me. I had taken lots of photos of flowers and was looking for a different perspective. The light just switched on in my head at that moment and there you have it.

Editing

No I try to keep my photos the way I see them as nature presents the subject to me so I am very averse to changing this.

In my camera bag

My Canon EOS 750D with the 18 - 55 mm lens with the longer lens 55 - 250 mm in the bag in case I need a longer shot and the smaller canon powershot SX 30. I am looking at getting a more powerful zoom or tamron lens.

Feedback

Try all different angles. never be afraid to experiment with angles, cameras , Lenses etc. Be passionate, Shoot, Shoot, Shoot,. Look for different aspects. The more photos you take the better you will get. try different lighting and distances. Sometimes a photo will look better not so close and other times close ups will look better.Love what you do because no matter where you are in the world each country has different views and subjects and you are showcasing your environment, your views, your flowers etc to everyone out there as they are doing for you. Enjoy what you do and be passionate.
