I headed to the Phoenix Zoo to practice shooting for my upcoming Kenyan Safari. My goal was to capture the animals in such a way that they didn't look like they were in a zoo. It was early morning and this beautiful Sumatran Tiger was pacing around his enclosure. Restless, he hopped up in the tree and stared me down. I was grateful that he was behind a fence, but I also looked around hopping to see a fireman - just in case.
