Port cruise terminal

The new Cruise Terminal of the Port of Leixões (Porto Cruise Terminal) is one of the finalists for the World Building of the Year 2016 Award in the category of "Mixed Use" along with 11 other projects worldwide. The shortlist includes 343 entries from 58 different countries and the Porto Cruise Terminal is the only Portuguese project shortlisted for this award. Operating since April 2011, the new pier with 340 metres of length has received the biggest and the most glamorous cruise ships from the worldwide. It was already awarded the international prize of architecture and design "AZAwards" last year. - Portugal.
