I took this photo right outside my house. It was raining before this then it just stopped and in came the lightning!Time

I used a canon sl1 with the 18-135 MM canon lens. I had used an old tripod I got from a garage sale!Inspiration
I’ve always wanted to get a shot of lightning after seeing many photos of lightning. It just looks so cool and beautiful, I had to try it for myself.Editing
I remember I just adjusted the exposure and highlights to get the lightning to look more crisp and clear.In my camera bag
Nowadays I have my Canon Eos 77D, my tamron 18-400mm lens, a very dark ND filter and a manfrotto tripod!Feedback
My advice is to take as many shots as you can. It will take a while to get the right shot though. Long exposure shots take a lot of patience and sometimes can be very frustrating!
