Taken at Mersey Road, Runcorn on May 31st, 2016. I used Cokin ND filters for this image. A 30 second exposure with noise reduction turned off. I wanted a grainy, darker image, so no exposure adjustments were made in PP. It was taken just after sunset, a very cloudy evening and a lively canal and river. In the background is Fiddlers Ferry power station and cranes being used in the construction of the new Mersey Gateway bridge. During the next year or so, there will be so many new photographic opportunities as the local landscape is changed forever.

With this image I was trying out different backdrops for use in black & white images, I used a Godox flash unit and 43 inch silver umbrella placed

from westbank, looking under the runcorn bridge at night.

This is a 2 seconds exposure of a huge sunset over the River Mersey. This image was seen on TV and used in the local press, quite chuffed with that!

5 minutes exposure of a very calm and clear manchester ship canal, with amazing reflections.
