Visited Alaska primarily to photograph brown bears, but also planned a boat trip from Seward to see a glacier. Well, it was a very unexpected thrill to see humpbacks bubble netting. I hadn't got any decent photos until our boat was pulling away and I kept focussed on the spot where the whales had last been seen - magically they suddenly appeared and my luck was in !
