This little sweat bee was hanging out, so I let him rest a bit. Was interesting to watch.

I took this photo at the local high school, where my son had football practice. This is his first year playing, 3rd and 4th grade team. While sitting on the sidelines and surrounded by these little suckers bee's, I decided to let one land on my hand. Friendly thing's they are, all the sudden I thought to myself "hey, try to get a picture". It sat long enough to get several shots, this was my favorite by far!Time
It was about 6:15 pm, sun still shining bright. I was sitting in the shade of a pine tree. Perfect lighting to get a great photo, even caught a little iridescence in the wings.Lighting
The photo was a total by chance happening, the lighting was perfect that day. The shade of the pine tree keep the direct sunlight from over exposing the shit. Taken with no filters. This picture brings me absolute joy every time I view it, my hope is that it captures that same happiness for other viewers!Equipment
This was a rougue shot taken with a Samsung s 7 edge. Shot in pro mode. Did not have my Nikon d5300 with me unfortunately, but was able to pull off a decent picture.Inspiration
I just wanted to capture a semi intimate moment that I shared with another life, small or big we all exist on the same plane, all think, all feel, all share energy. I know they are pesky but this little bee felt safe enough to land and let me take some pictures. I'm glad I could, even more so I could share.Editing
No post processing, just the raw photo. Taken in HDR for macroIn my camera bag
I normally use a Nikon d5300, 18-55mm lens, wide angle lens, telephoto 2x converter , macro lens, and a 35-500 mm telephoto lens.Feedback
The best advice I could give on a picture like this is to be patient and most of all have fun. Don't be afraid to experience the unusual. Always be camera ready!!
