Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken down at Ocean Shores in Washington State. Every year we go camping there to enjoy the beach and bask in the sunlight.

Time

I love sunsets and we decided to sit and wait for this one. It is something my wife and I do together to be together and enjoy.

Lighting

The lighting is what was there in this picture. I had to wait til the sun was in the right place for me.

Equipment

I use A Nikon 3300 or a Nikon 5200 to take my photos. I sometimes use a tripod but in this shot I just held on and there it was.

Inspiration

Nature is a great inspiration. For me that says it all

Editing

I usually go from a raw shot. This time I did not.

In my camera bag

I have several lenses in my bag and always have both of my cameras.

Feedback

Patience is the best way to take a shot like this. I also snap off several pictures so I have a good choice.
