Location
I'm a photographer and a poet and I travel often from Austin to Santa Fe to attend my favorite writer's conference in Truchas, NM–which incidentally, is another great spot to photograph! I'm working on a series of photos on the Texas/New Mexico landscape transition. This spot is one of my favorites, right at the border in between the two states. This is an abandoned church, full of graffiti on the inside. I will keep the exact location secret for now! Thank you so much for the love!Time

I'm always scouting during these trips, I stop a lot.Editing
I can't remember, it was a while ago, I don't manipulate my photos much, these days, I used to process way more than I do now. I'm working with a documentary style mindset. My shots tend to be low in technique but highly evocative, I think of my poems in the same way. My poetry and my photography are intertwined. In my camera bag
I love my sony camera, I know it's not a popular choice, but I get a lot of mileage out of it, I also love my SX-70 and my Rollei. I'm transitioning back to film.Feedback
