Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the depths of Dover castle.

Time

It was taken during the day, and needed to be taken quickly due to the amount of people that were around.

Lighting

There wasn't a great deal of lighting. A few tungsten bulbs here and there, making it a very difficult shot without a tripod!

Equipment

I used a Canon 5d mark ii with a canon 28-70mm zoom lens (I think!)

Inspiration

I loved the lines and the way flows down the image.

Editing

The photo is cropped slightly and I increased the saturation a bit but other than that it's pretty much the same as the original shot.

In my camera bag

I try to keep it light, with just my camera, my speedlight and one maybe two lenses. It's great to see what you can produce without a bag full of tricks@
