I took a partial hike up Black Mountain (in the civilian permitted area) to get a sunset in Vegas from a good vantage point. I believe it is close enough to have some good foreground "story" and it has the background information to give you a location. Leading lines going towards the sun and city to draw you into the background. I just loved the diffuse glow the dust in the air created (windy days in Vegas will do that...). There was a graduated ND filter used, and a curves adjustment done in DxO.
