Midday, urban exploration is safer and I get better lights and shadows from the natural light. I always take a flash light or speed light if it is too dark.Lighting

I use medium format equipment. That photo was captured using Leaft full spectrum 50 mp back on Alpa fps which allowed me to use the canon 17 TS. It is a merge of two images one for the wheelchair and the second for the shadow of the wheel!Inspiration
Urban exploration is always associated with mixed feelings, I try to have the light and shadows in the image to reflect that mix.Editing

I try to capture the feeling(s) of the abandoned place. Find the most interesting part of your composition to accentuate (e.g. Get close with a wide angle, enhance its color in post, etc..). Shadow, shadow, shadows...
