Hyacinth macaw are the largest macaws and the largest parrot species with a length of about 100cm from their head to their tail. Actually they're just living in three small areas in south america, unfortunately they are one of the most threatened birds in our world. Their deep blue color is absolutely stunning and fascinating and it's always a pleasure to observe them. This lovely macaw is living with another one in the Walter Zoo in Switzerland.
