Location
This photo was taken on the outskirts of Hill Town Pennsylvania.Time
This was taken in the late afternoon around 2-3 pmLighting
This image was taken with only natural light... and being at the right time ready with my camera.Equipment
I used my Panasonic DMC GX7 no flash, no tripod, just me and the camera.Inspiration
I was driving down this little country road just on the outskirts of Hill Town Pennsylvania. As I looked over I saw this pasture that had a few horses grazing near the fence. I slammed on the breaks, grabbed my camera and jumped out of the car. I first only focused on the beautiful horses near the fence... but as I looked up I saw this beauty standing under the Cherry Tree. Then the Horse started walking twards me and I was able to capture this amazing image of the horse under the cherry tree.Editing
This image is very minimaly proccessed. I croped the picture down to my liking, and added a touch of contrast and shadows with a little bit of exposure. Other than that, its straight from my camera. In my camera bag
I mainly use my Panasonic DMC-GX7 with kit lenses, a speedlight flash, and illuminator, batteries, memory cards, clamps, and gels. Then I also use a bounce/reflector sometimes.. but not with this image.Feedback
As a self taught non technical photographer, I take every picture with the intentions that I will not be editing it. I sometimes will take up to 10 different pictures of the same thing to capture what it is I want to capture. This allows me to capture amazing award winning images, that sometimes don't ever have to be edited. I take pride in knowing that most of my images are straight from my camera and un edited. I don't rapid shoot, I take my time and wait for a magical moment to happen.. Sometimes it takes a little bit of paitience, to get something worth taking.
