The light glows so that I can almost feel it, yet it doesn't wash out the detail. The dark has depth and mystery. As to the thirds, the position of the lamp grouping does it very well. I'd like to hang this!

I'm so sorry, hiw rude of me not to respond to your comment. Thank you f or the kinds words. I've beeen trying to work on night photography with a digital camera. I came from using 35mm most of my life so digital is new to me
