A quick series I did solely for the ''600 photographers'', since I wasn't pleased with my first entry.
Done in a rush in dying light. My self-timer died so I had 10 seconds to run around the shrubbery without stomping on it, as that would reduce it's presence on the photograph and I really wanted plenty of it.
But I ended up loving the final result.
A photographer blending in with nature, on a lookout for that next perfect nature shot.

Location
This photo was taken in Lokovec, Slovenia. It's a mountain area covered in forests, but there are some empty plains which as I have discovered make for some very beautiful settings.Time
Taken at a rapid mountain sunset and it was my last chance that day to take a photo with natural light.Lighting
It was a dying light. It felt like I was racing with mother nature, to take this shot.Equipment
Canon 5D mk II, Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Lens, a simple but sturdy tripod and a self-timer.Inspiration
The Viewbug competition ''600 Photographers''. I had submitted another photo and was not happy with my entry. So I raced out trying to get a better photo and replace the other one.Editing
A conversion to black and white, a crop and some messing around in Photoshop layers to achieve the white skin glow effect. I really wanted the body to pop-out.In my camera bag
Just the one camera and lens. It's very versatile and not too heavy and inconvenient.Feedback
If you are going to take a shot in nature, do yourself a favour and be there at least an hour before sunset starts. You wouldn't believe how fast the sun can start setting. I was fighting a battle with light and had to change setting several times. It was fun, though :) Cheers!
