The Oregon Dunes stretch for many miles, from Florence to Coos Bay, an hour's drive south. The remote wilderness areas along the ocean here mean these beaches are mostly nature and wildlife. There are a few widely spaced villages along the way and an occasional campground. Great place to feel like one of the early explorers arriving at the Pacific Ocean.
