Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a small town outside of Laramie, Wyoming called Bosler.

Time

The time of day was around 11am.

Lighting

I had great weather that day and the late morning was my only opportunity to go out and take this photo.

Equipment

I used my trusty Ricohgr II with no tripod. I had to trek about 50 yards off the main road to capture this photo.

Inspiration

I've always wanted to a photo of this type of subject matter. I love old cars and to me, this was a "wow" moment to stop the car in the middle of knowhere and snap the shot.

Editing

On this particular photo, I post processed with Lightroom Mobile. I like to upload photo's the same day so I find it convenient to edit on the road even though it's JPEG only.

In my camera bag

For now I just keep my low profile Ricohgr II with me at all times. Since it's so small, I also carry a small tripod that fits in my backpack.

Feedback

I have to say I did some research on this area of Wyoming. There is a great website I use while going on trips called,www. roadsideattractions.com. It gave me info on that particular area.
