This photo was taken at my birth home in North Dakota. Where there are fields of sunflowers that eventually will be harvested.Time
Sunflower "heads" follow the path of the sun throughout the day. This one is facing east so it's morning. it's pretty awesome to watch a whole field of sunflowers move across the sky during the day.Lighting
Because sunflowers follow the sun getting the lighting just right is much easier because you have good lighting throughout the entire day when the sun is shining.Equipment

Sunflowers are simply beautiful. And when you have the large ones, as captured in this picture, the details even more beautiful. The fact that there is nutrition from the seeds for both birds and humans is an added inspiration.Editing
