Location
The photo was taken near the Belskoe lake under the Moscow city. We looked for a lake where we could rent a boat and this place is perfectTime
Actually we tried to make this series 2 days in a row. I love to shoot at sunset and in the 1st day we arrived to the place about 6 P.M.. We have rented the boat, prepared the requisite, we were ready to start, but rain told us, - "Come back tomorrow". So we came back in the next day and you can see what happened.Lighting
I like to work with natural light. It was a sunny day and the trees made the light a little softer.Equipment
This was shot at Canon 7D with lens 135mm f/2.0.Inspiration
Me and my model Alexandra Cherkashina was inspired by art of Pre-Raphaelites. So we decided to make a photoset in "Ledy Shalot" style.Editing
I use minimal retouch on the face because I try to show the natural beauty of model. Actually I pay more attention to color correction. Also I love to use some textures.In my camera bag
I don't have much equipment. I have 1 camera - Canon 7D, and 2 lenses - 135mm f/2.0, 18-135mm. My main lens is 135mm. I like the photos made by this lens.Feedback
First, you should pay attention on the weather. Our 1st day was spoiled by the rain and we decided to postpone the photoset on the next day. Second, don't forget about requisite. It's important if you want to create something special. And last one, you should be inspired of your work. You should wish to make something really good, that make you happy!
