Location
I took this photo whilst on a drive with my husband. (The Austin Healey belongs to him). We live in the province of Utrecht in The Netherlands.Time
This was taken during the golden hour. The sunset colours were beautiful.Lighting
This was at sunset, and the colours were spectacular. I asked my husband to pull over so I could take some landscape shots, but when I turned around to walk back to the car, I realised that the car looked fabulous in that light, and shot the photo.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon EOS 650D, handheld. No flash. Aperture 45/10, ISO 800, Shutter 1/400.Inspiration
As I say, I was actually out shooting landscapes in the golden hour, when the light on the car caught my eye and inspired me.Editing
No post-processing was done. I was a newbie back in 2016 when the shot was taken and I did not have any editing software at the time.In my camera bag
Nowadays I usually have my Sony RX10 MK 4 with me. It is light and versatile and I don't need to lug extra lenses around. I sometimes have my tripod with.Feedback
The Golden Hour is such a beautiful time to shoot pictures. I would recommend shooting then. Don't be afraid to try something new and outside of your comfort zones.
