The Alexandria Bridge in Ottawa, Canada. The photograph was taken on a rainy Canada Day, July 1, 2016 from the Quebec side of the Ottawa River. The statue of Samuel Champlain can be seen pointing west. The National Gallery of Canada in the background. Two steeples seen from Notre Dame Cathedral originally constructed in 1874. Tourists can be seen walking across the bridge which was closed to traffic for pedestrians to pass heading toward Canada's Parliament buildings for celebrations & downtown core.
