The photo was taken in Guilin, China during my travel. I am a self-taught photographer, every shot is a new attempt for me.Time
This was probably around 3 to 4 pm. We were sitting on a bamboo boat, and watching the man and his birds performing for us. The birds were catching the fishes and stored in their stomach. They will later push the fishes out of their stomach and let the man take the fishes.Lighting
It is all about natural light. The natural sunlight just around the river, and it helped with the reflection on the river.Equipment

I like the atmosphere shaped by the natural view of the mountains and the harmony between the man and his birds. Everything is just right and the framing in my mind is just like a painting.Editing

I used to have Sony a55 and 18-55mm lens. Now I have Sony a6300 with 16-50mm. It is much lighter and it allows me to take 4k videos.Feedback
I think just try different shots whenever you can take photos. It might be harder for some of us as the photographer is kind of riding on the bamboo boat, so you might not be able to prevent the shake. But you can just set the prevent shake function, and it could help much of your photos' quality. You might also find different perspectives for your photos when you are having the boat trip along the river, the view and composition are kept changing, therefore, all you need is just give it a try!
