You nailed it.
Excellent use of leading lines, repeating patterns and play of light and shadow.
Congratulations on this and, your other great works.

Location
It was taken at the top of the Metropol Parasol in Sevilla (Spain) which is a huge mushroom shaped parasol completely made out of wood.Time
It was taken at around 11 a.m (by which time it was already 36 degrees celsius) and I had to wait until nobody was walking past to get this shot.Lighting
I was lucky enough to catch that particular point of the structure when the sun was creating a lovely contrast of lights and shadows on its wooden panelsEquipment
I used a Nikon D7100 and a Sigma 10-20, handheld.Inspiration
I felt drawn in when I saw that angle of the structure, kind of an optical illusion effect.Editing
I put it in black and white and upped the contrast and sharpness a littleIn my camera bag
I have 2 Nikon D7100 bodies, but I usually only use one, and my main lenses are the Sigma 10-20mm, 24-70mm 2.8, 105mm macro and 70-200mm 2.8.Feedback
I would say to walk around and around and up and down buildings and sculptures to find a unique angle that makes you go "aha!"
