My son and I were in Maine doing some camping, hiking, fishing and mountain climbing. We had just set up camp and went out to look for firewood when I hear my son whisper, "hey, dad, get your camera and come over here quick!" I was amazed to see this Fawn curled up waiting for Mom to return. I took a couple quick shots and we stayed out of that area the rest of the night. We checked the area in the morning and it was gone. It was the closest I have ever been able to get to a newborn fawn!
