I was able to get strangely close to this beautiful Snowy Owl and squeeze off a few shots before her curiosity gave way to her instincts! The closest I have been able to get to any Raptor in the wild. approx. 20 feet away. I just love these owls and sometimes I drive around for 6 hours trying to locate one that is close enough for me to reach with the equipment I have.
