This photo was taken of a street performer in New Orleans.Time
We were on vacation in New Orleans and excited to hear some music . As we walked the street looking for a lunch time place to eat, we came across this fantastic group playing their music along the streets . I wish I could recall their name but I do not.Lighting
I liked the lighting , it was a bit overcast but not dark.Equipment
I used a D7100 and Nikon 18-105, hand held.Inspiration
Truly , I thought he was just a really beautiful representation of the music scene there in New Orleans and I was really glad to get a shot because people kept walking in front of me. Right after I made this shot, the group stopped for a break. It is good to be at the right place at the right time.Editing
I always do some post processing. I would have lightened the shadows and cropped this a bit .In my camera bag
I usually take a spare battery and that is all I had with me this day.Feedback
The New Orleans area seems to have an endless amount of interesting sights to photograph , people, architecture, the river, etc.... We had sunshine clouds and rain all on this day, so keep something handy to protect your camera from the rain. I shoot everything I see, that sparks an interest in myself. That is what works for me.
