Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo a beautiful July afternoon at the Getty Center in LA

Time

It was at around 5pm not quite golden hour but getting there

Lighting

I remember there was a huge fire in the vicinity and it gave this thick grey clouds with some orange and red accents and I absolutely loved the looks of the light that day

Equipment

This was shot on a Samsung Galaxy S6 with pro mode and nothing else

Inspiration

The curves and the overall architecture of the center i am an architect and it’s a very inspiring building for me

Editing

I actually just bumped the exposure because, I usually underexpose my RAW pictures so I don’t burn the highlights. It’s pretty much straight out from the camera

In my camera bag

After this trip to LA I started taking photography more seriously I always take my iPhone 11 Pro, a Sony A6000 with stock lenses 18-50 and 55-210, lens cleaning kit, a portable tripod and extra SD cards

Feedback

Look for the lighting of the place, architecture plays well in hand of shadows and highlights
