This foto was taken at the Coliseum in Rome, it was the year 2015 and it was my first time in ItalyTime
The time was about 5-6 pm? I don’t really remember but it was around the sunset, I went for a quick walk around the Coliseum since I’ve never seen it And i could say It was the best time of the day to do it.Lighting
The light was hitting the old stone just perfectly for it to show it’s true colors, the sky was so blue that had an amazing color contrast with the ColiseumEquipment
I just used my GoPro (I believe it’s the GoPro hero) it was the only camera I had with me and it was a challenge because I was quite far away from the Coliseum and i didn’t want the fisheye lens to distort my photoInspiration
I was walking on a side road that leads to the Coliseum un which there are quite a few trees like the one on the right of my photo and when I walked past the last one the coliseum kinda popped into my eyes and it was so inspiring to seeEditing
Since I took that photo I usually edit all of them in Lightroom But you won’t believe me if I told you I didn’t use any post processing for that one I loved how it looked straight of the cameraIn my camera bag
Normally in my bag I have my Sony A6000 with my 2 kit lenses the 16-50mm and the 55-210mm, also I always bring a small tripod with an adapter for my phone, my mavic mini just in case I can do some drone photography, my phone an iPhone 11pro which is actually amazing, extra SD cards, lens cleaning kit, and my iPad in case i want to do some quick editing on the moveFeedback
If you want to capture something similar with a GoPro you will have to be very patient and be very aware of where the Horizon is on the photo so the fisheye lens doesn’t distort your picture
