The photo was take at a High School Baseball Playoff game in Texas.I am a self taught photographer.Time
It was taken in the early afternoon on a partly cloudy day in mid May.Lighting
The lighting was natural sun filtered through a thin layer of clouds.Equipment
It was shot with a Nikon D80 using a Nikon kit 70-300 lens.Inspiration
I wanted to capture the action of the catcher sticking a pitch in the zone.Editing

The only post processing I did was to boost the colors a little.When i shoot sports now, I still carry the Nikon D80 and the Nikon kit 70-300 lens. But I have added a Nikon D300 and 300s as well as a Sigma 150-500.Feedback
