Photo was taken at 6:40 AM after almost 1 hour travel from home in Sharjah U.A.E..Lighting
Lighting was the natural light coming from the rising sun, the subject came from the shadowed area while I am on a crawling position waiting for this creature to be hit by the sun rays to get the desired exposure. Just during the sunlight hitting the eye and saw it sparkled, I pressed the shutter and got this image.Equipment
I used my D810 handheld set at 500mm f6.3 on ISO 800 and exposure 1/1000 and no flash.Inspiration
I was looking for a good subject to photograph and I spotted this creatures on the shallow pond busy for their early morning breakfast moving fast and active towards me. I am a nature lover and always attracted on baby animals especially on this smooth feathered creatures this will always be my first priority than other subjects.Editing
This photo is from RAW loaded in Lightroom I straighten the image then crop just to emphasize the subject and selected Vivid camera profile no further editing done.In my camera bag
I always bring two cameras My Nikon D810 always and paired with Nikon Df or D500. with the Nikon trinity lenses 14-24mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm and 200-500mm f5.6. always with a spare battery, memory cards, set of ND filters, polarizing filter and a flash. bulky but bringing all this ensures me that I will not miss the required equipment for any subject that come along my way while shooting.Feedback
Photography is Challenging it requires patience while waiting or looking for a desired subject, never be ashamed to crawl even in the mud if it is required to capture and show astounding Photograph. But always keep in mind all the required safety on yourself and your equipment as well.
