Location
I took this photo on my return trip to home after driving my boyfriend to work. It was extremely foggy going to his work place but the fog was lifting a bit as the sun was rising. I could see the stream of light up ahead as I travelled on the highway back to home. I stopped on the side of the highway and grabbed my camera that was always set on auto/landscape and leaned out of the driver's window and took a few shots. This is one of the shots.Time
It was approximately 8:45am. It was a foggy morning but was breaking up as the sun rose higher.Lighting
I lucked out to have the sun rising behind the trees. It was perfect to show the light rays beaming down through the trees.Equipment
Just my camera. Lumix Panasonic DMC ZS50. a small but great little camera.Inspiration
The light beaming through the trees caught my eye as I was driving on the highway. It was a fast decision to pull over and take what ever shots I could get before they faded away. I shot through the window space of my car door and timed the shots through the traffic passing by.Editing
I edit most of my photos, cropping, light adjustments, color adjustments, clarity. I do whatever I think will make the photo be at it's best, from the best of my ability and my eye.In my camera bag
I have my Lumix camera, a small tripod, all the charging parts and now a new camera, Canon EOS Rebel T6i, a Pro MC AF Lens-4K Ultra violet coating, and all the charging parts.Feedback
If you happen to spot a few light beams coming through the trees, don't even think about it, just stop where you are and start taking your shots.
