I took it at the park across from my grandfather's house that I used to play at all the time as a child.Time
The sun was just barely setting, it must have been about 7/8pm.Lighting
It was my key focus. For years I had smashed through those dandelions as a child, it brought amazing memories to me so I wanted to focus my key lighting (the sunset) right behind the perfect dandelion to capture it's beauty.Equipment
I only used my Nikon D5200, and my 50mm lens, nothing more.Inspiration
I love the beauty behind things, dandelions fluffs are normally regarded as weeds here and spread all around during the summer months,but I find them beautiful to see when they're all in bloom in a large field together.Editing
I corrected the color slightly, and sharpened the image. That was all.In my camera bag
My Nikon D5200 and 50mm lens are my essentials, beyond that I'll pack my 18-55mm nikon lens and my sb700 flash with me. I try to be as natural and as spontaneous as I can get with my photos so I don't normally pack all my equipment.Feedback
Have patience, and a love for beauty. Feel what you want to capture in your heart before you do it, then hold your breath and go for it. And don't be afraid of not liking it at first, sometimes tour photos will have a hidden beauty in them that you won't see until after you take the shot.
