Behind The Lens

Location

Kelpies Falkirk, Scotland

Time

Early evening, stayed there for a few hours in April watching all the colours change taking a sequence of photo's. It was cold but the sky was on fire. Its the most amazing sky I have ever seen. More so, its all in the camera shot with no developing. So what you see is what you get. Its my favourite shoot.

Lighting

Lighting all done by nature I can't take credit.

Equipment

Hand held Fujifilm FINPIX HS30 EXR bridge camera, manual settings.

Inspiration

The Kelpies themselves and being fortunate to be there at such a spectacular sunset.

Editing

None, what you see is all captured in camera.

In my camera bag

My bridge camera, tripod and remote trigger. I had very little equipment at this time.

Feedback

Lots of patience, keep changing settings till your happy and pack a pair of gloves. Find a good vantage point and just wait it out.
