Zebra Canyon earns its reputation as an incredible photography destination in southern Utah! It's not the easiest canyon to reach in the southwest, though, and requires a 3 mile hike across the desert on a poorly maintained trail. I got here a little earlier than I needed to, and waited for several hours for the sun to extend into the canyon, creating the spectacular glow seen here. Some raven had built a nest right above where I stood to get this picture, and I was continually fearful of getting plastered by bird crap. There were some close calls, but I made it out unscathed!
