Behind The Lens

Location

Yates Mill, Raleigh NC. This is a historic mill that has been preserved for the public in the middle of a beautiful park.

Time

This was taken in the early afternoon

Lighting

Nothing special

Equipment

Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T6i Aperture: f/1.8 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/640 Focal Length: 50/1

Inspiration

I saw this old decrepit wagon and people were walking past not taking notice of it. I wanted to take a shot that would show that beauty that people were not taking notice of.

Editing

I applied a sepia filter in Photoshop

In my camera bag

Canon EOS Rebel T6i, several lenses, additional batteries and memory cards

Feedback

Take your time and really look at the world around you. Try looking at different levels. For example, sit on the ground and take in the view. You never know what you might see.
