For this view,for scenes like this one-all the tiredness and struggles with everyday life of a mother, disappears.
It's just me and them and pure joy they represent.
Yes I do need to paint my walls, as my kids express their feelings with crayols,and tea bags (you wouldn't believe a wet tea bag makes such an amazing stamp being thrown at the ceiling would you..) I do need to clean my dog from Sudocreme every now and then,as my toddlers are so caring they cover our german shepherd with it. Take the remote control,out of the toilet,keys out of the freezer,explain to Mikey that Ruby (dog) and Frederica (cat) has been fed already-and he doesn't need to give them his dinner. I do need to explain to them it's not nice to scribble on my jeep with the stones from the driveway (in this case I really prefer the walls)
I do have to explain to my babies that ripping the only flowers I have grown-miraculously- in my garden (I really suck at gardening..) is something that is- at the same time-melting my heart,and making me angry.
I do have to wait for the weekend to re-charge my batteries. And this view does that for me. As this is the visual of what motherhood is all about. My healing solution.
