Very creative.

Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken for an art loving client,so I was going for more painterly look. This was a sensitive baby boy so it was quite challenging, ut overall parents were really imoressed with the outcome.
Time
8 pm
Lighting
studio lights bowens 400 from camera right, and 300 from the left at full power
Equipment
nikon d750 and sigma 35 mm +studio lights
Inspiration
Combining a photograph with a painting like look, paintings in my local Church.
Editing
It took quite a long time to process this image, removed the little blemishes in PS cc. I also had to desaturate nearly whole background, and the hand-paint the colour.
In my camera bag
Sigma lenses 105 and 35, 24-70 tamron +nikon d700 and d750
Feedback
Patience is key with images like this one - creating it in camera as well as editing it. Starts with choosing a wrap that will look good with this painterely effect, getting the baby into pose and choosing the angle of light to match it to the mood you are going for.
