Here on the Tusket River in Southwest Nova Scotia they fish for Gaspereau, aka.. Alewife, Kiack. A boney fish some enjoy smoked but mainly they're used for Lobster Bait. Some fishermen fish by Gill Nets others by scoop nets. On the river at this particular spot they scoop net. Here a lonely punt sits along shore, most probably awaiting the fisherman's return as there are few spots and the fishermen take turns.
