I took this shot on a Memorial Day weekend a few years ago. This cabin is in Cades Cove near Townsend, Tennessee. Cades Cove is located in the Smoky Mountain region of East Tennessee and is the birthplace of many of my ancestors. My grandfather was the substitute mail carrier in the Cove and my Daddy remembers accompanying occasionally on his route.
